Living Poem

My Loves,

We are officially in Summer.

This year is absolutely flying by.

Hopefully last week’s invitation gave you more clarity and ease regarding your needs.

Discerning what we invest our energy into, as well as knowing when to put down what doesn’t serve us, is so valuable.

It enables us to truly understand how to move in the direction of what we desire, and inches us closer to what brings us joy.

And who doesn’t want that?

Speaking of joy, I was journaling the other day, and found myself reflecting upon moments where I felt safe & embodied while moving.

There's something impactful about connecting to how we feel, and expressing our needs through our bodies.

Movement provides a lovely container where we can articulate what our voice is, at times afraid to say, and offers others the potential to bear witness to the essence of who we are.

So hopefully these questions also inspire you to reflect on how you define movement, and where you find fulfillment in your practice.
 ======

Here is my journal invitation for this week:

When you dance, your body is a living poem in motion.

With that in mind…

What does it want to say?

What does it need to shed?

And how would you prefer to be witnessed?

 ---------

When I say that, what comes up for you?

How do these questions offer opportunities to find appreciation in your movement journey?

Xo
