Support

My Loves,

I hope all is well with you, and yours.

The summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I really appreciate the warmth of the sun. Most of the year, I usually prefer stay indoors. With my life consumed with family and work, the Summer is always a reminder to find moments of enjoyment for myself.

Reflecting on last week’s invitation, I hope that you were able to make time to reflect on your relationship with your body, and the ways in which expression can be valuable for your movement journey.

Today, I’d love to explore the idea of support.

We all have so much to do. It can almost seem like there just isn’t enough time in a day.

When you reflect on your life, your relationships, and all of the people you take care of, who takes care of you?

Especially, within the context of movement spaces?

Where do you find your support?

What kind of support from others do you truly need?

How can community fulfill your need for connection?

Where do you feel safe enough to express yourself, and feel fully supported by others?

Lastly, is that an experience you actively seek out, and how valuable are spaces like that for you?

Here is my invitation to explore for this week:

What does support mean to you in your movement/embodiment journey?

How do those experiences inform what you share, and how you share it?

What kind of support do you feel comfortable enough to ask for, so that you may fully come into a space of thriving?

When I say that, what comes up for you?

How do these questions offer opportunities to find connection & support in your movement journey?
